It's a multi-part series from Australia. There were two "seasons," in 2002 and 2003. The fake TV station CNNNN (Chaser Non-Stop News Network--the fourth 'N' doesn't mean anything) does some absolutely amazing segments that put Faux, CNN, and MSNBC to shame. It's absolutely hysterical.

ETA: I suggest going to the 2002 vault and watching "People Believe the Darnedest Things." Creationist fundies. :D

It's very funny - I believe there are some clips on this page.

You could also check out 'The Day Today' a BBC 90's spoof that had very dark and funny moments.
