Poll question: Who Is the Most Intelligent Democratic Candidate (poll)?
After reading another thread on this, I'm curious what you think. Based on what you know of the candidates and their backgrounds, who do you think the most intelligent candidate is?

3. There are too many definitions of intelligence to be able to respond
intelligently.... however, I chose Dean, because I took the question to mean their scores on an IQ test, and IQ tests lean heavily toward verbal ability, so Dean likely has the highest IQ. But, of course, one can talk about different ideas of IQ, such as practical knowledge, creativity, dancing or athletic ability (psychologist Howard Gardner of Harvard calls this kinesthetic intelligence), emotional empathy, intrapersonal, and so on. Mosley-Braun likely would score very high, now that I think about it.

12. The Ambiguity Was Deliberate
I wanted people to be able to use whatever definition of "intelligent" they were most comfortable with.

4. Dennis...
just because I believe he realizes how deeply unsustainable our system is, and that we need massive change to sustain it. Another cenrist, another Bush, less world, or no world, christ.

Clark (of course), Dean (even though I can't stand him) and Kerry. So, I didn't vote because I feel it would be disingenous for me to choose one over the other.

13. A "which candidate has the best breath" poll would yield the same results
As would "...has the prettiest eyes" or "...has the best singing voice" or "...has the greatest collective virtues" or "...is the sexiest".

Flashes of insight and fairness pop up here and there, but all polls seem to come out with the same spread of late.

In an effort to stand out of the crowd and due to habitual contrariness, I decided to break the mold and vote for my candidate.

(Then again, I think he actually is...)
