6. PLEASE SIGN MY BRING BACK AARON BROWN PETITION!!! !! ! ! ! ! !
They got rid of Aaron Brown because of the new CNN Pres John Klein, who wanted to format the show in a more fox-ish style to combat Greta Van Susteren's rising ratings. We all have to admit-- compared to everyone else out there (save Keith Olbermann) Aaron Brown was the best. Here's a petition that is being presented to CNN in NY at the end of Nov. PLEASE SIGN!!!!!!

3. Aaron's news was not entertaining enough
because it had too much hard news and intelligent analysis.

But CNN has been screwing around with his show for at least the past year... if they had just left the guy alone to do his job, they could have retained at least a little credibility. Now it's all gone.

Nothing against Cooper, I like him and wish him well.

4. Ed Schultz had a lot of discussion about this on AAR this afternoon.

One person called in and said he hated Aaron Brown's "smirk" - I don't know, but perhaps it was the young stag replacing the older stag. I think Aaron Brown was a decent newsman and hope that he gets another job soon again.

By the way, what ever happened to former CNN host Lynne Russell? She/is was a great gal and I haven't heard anything about her in years.

Also, I worked with former CNN host Lynn Vaughn in Boston at WEEI. She was a young intern on my show. She was sharp.

5. Sad,isn't it? The news has to be entertaining.
In fact, even the "entertainment" shows aren't entertaining.

TV sucks!
