(I'm in a kind of goofy mood this evening, so I wrote this)
Dear Bill,
When I heard you tell Michelle Malkin that you “went through the Vietnam era” I knew we were kindred spirits! I, too, went through that same era, and to tell you the truth I feel almost Cambodian! How about you?
Listen, here are some other things that I went through – and I’ll bet you did too. Let’s compare notes.
I went through the Civil Rights era, and even though I’m Caucasian I still can’t go in the front door of any building! I’ll bet you’re just like that, huh?
I went through the Free Love era, and now I every time I meet one of my wife’s friends I stick my hand up their skirt! Now, I KNOW you’re with me on this one, what with the whole loofah thing and all.
I went through the Space Race era, and I see strange looking alien types wherever I go. I mean, how ‘bout them Democrats, Billy – they got to be from another planet! By the way, I love the code words that you use in your show – “No Spin” refers to zero gravity, doesn’t it. I knew it!
I’ll stop for now, because I know you’re very busy, and, like me, have a myriad of experiences to draw from. Just don’t let those naysayers get you down – you’re a man of the people, Billy. A man of the people.
Regards,
Roger Ramjet
