Have they at least shut down Abramoff's "charities"? Good Lord, this bunch is a brazen lot of crooks, criminals, and plain not nice supposedly human being!

By the way, wasn't the Scanlon they talked about DeLay's chief of staff or some such? Maybe Ronnie Earle needs to compare notes with this committee's findings... Just a thought!

4. Kicking this again, watching again for the second time today

Maybe I'm wrong, but it strikes me that the Coushatta Indians paid all that money, basically, for a bribe, in order to buy influence in Congress and prevent competition. I started out feeling sorry for them because they did spend a lot of money for nothing, but what they hoped to get was also underhanded.

I laughed about Abramoff's email calling the fundies "wackos".
