These U.S. gulags are really freaking me out!!!
I mean, we have previously heard that this was happening. But, now, the evidence is out there and I feel so nauseous and ashamed and pissed and,...and,...disgusted!!!

I never dreamed that this nation could sponsor so much horror and death.

FUCK!!! :grr:

This shit MUST END!!!! This administration, which is behaving precisely as the "great satan" that OBL has alleged, must be removed!!! I just can NOT accept such gross violations of laws and human rights committed under the name of this nation and its people!!! I just can NOT avoid being passionately compelled to do everything in my power to advocate the removal of this diseased administration.

FUCK!!! :grr:

Geez.

3. each and every one of us is at risk
of being "disappeared" by our government. no indictment, no lawyer, no trial. the TRIBUNAL is so gestapo that it is impossible for the average citizen to comprehend.

4. This has bothered me since the Guantanamo prison was set up
especially since the Busheviks continue to insist that it's okay to hold US citizens indefinitely for unspecified charges of "terrorism."

Unfortunately, too many people are gullible enough to believe that "only the guilty will be arrested" and "They're terrorists--prison is too good for them."

Despite all those years of Law and Order shows, the American public is still remarkably naive about why we have those Constitutional safeguards.

5. What's equally maddening is to hear Bartlett, the wh mouthpiece,
say twice today that everything is just hunky-dory and the US would "NEVER" involve themselves in anything illegal happening in the gulags. :grr: :grr: :grr:

Gitmo and Abu Ghraib. It was a bold-faced lie.

19. Yep. And we're supposed to be grateful.
No torture in Los Angeles! Cool!

But, they always bring home what they do abroad, in some way.

Bastards.

11. A lot of people have known about these things for ages.
The difference is now it's public.

The other difference is that the public still doesn't seem to care nearly enough.

When history judges...it needs to judge not only Bushco, but the people who allowed Bushco to do what they have done.

16. I keep TRYING to understand that, Americans are too wrapped up,...
,...in their own survival, economically and culturally and psychologically, to have the energy or time to address the underlying causes of their own stresses, let alone the concealed horrors being committed by their government against other human beings.

But, shit,...I just don't know what's happening to this country, anymore. We seem like cars attached to a death and destruction engine.

I just don't know what else to do.

17. Has anyone apologized to Sen Durbin, yet?
Remember the uproar when he used the word "gulag". I tell you those GOP idiots scream the loudest when we turn out to be right! Can Durbin take his apology back?
