I can't even imagine the kind of despair those soldiers are going through over there. Being sent to war indefinitely to make the BFEE even richer, not knowing day to day whether they will live to ever see their families again...

And so far not a peep from the "support the troops" crowd. I don't know whether to weep or to scream.

10. One of those suicides was a female soldier

According to a newspaper article posted here last week, if you read the whole thing. The main part of it was an interview with parents in Massachusetts who were very upset about the emails they were receiving from their Army son, who was so upset by what he was seeing in Iraq. He mentioned to them that a woman soldier had committed suicide by shooting herself in the stomach. What a nightmare - and how easy for the brass to report suicides as accidents. All they'll have to do is shut up the rest of the troops who know better. I think it's only because the stories are leaking out back home through emails from the troops that the Army is "investigating" at all.
