I pledge to work instead of refreshing.
I pledge to take a peek at this forum for news just a few times a day until my work is caught up.
I pledge to be patient and wait for the news to happen.

It's kind of like lighting up a cigarette in a restaurant, and then the meal finally arrives.........(smokers will know what I mean).

So, lighting up my cigarette, leaving the forum for at least an hour........maybe even two?

I can't believe no one at work called me out last week for not getting anything done.

It was absurd. I did the minimum work and spent waaay too much time on DU. My employer is very laid back, and they know that I work hard so it is no biggie that I am checking LBN a lot. But I try really hard not to take advantage of the honor system we have, and I totally did last week.

3. I feel good about things.

It's going to take some more time to resolve this thing. After all it's pretty fucking big. I'll do my usual morning and evening DU sessions, but I'm done with the daytime stuff for now. (At least until something else happens.)
