Open questions to VP Cheney, and his former Chief of staff, LIbby.
How did your office come to the conclusion that Joe Wilson stated that Cheney sent him to Niger?

What investigation of that claim took place in order to verify that Joe Wilson made such a claim?

Why did you go to great lengths to conduct your own investigation to determine Joe Wilson's identity, his wife's identity, the details of Joe Wilson's Niger mission, and Joe Wilson's media coverage following his mission to Niger, when you didn't even have any evidence that supported the original claim that Joe Wilson made this claim about VP Cheney?

Are you willing to acknowledge now that Joe Wilson never made such a claim about VP Cheney sending him to Niger?

These links may assist you in your investigation into whether or not Joe Wilson actually ever made such a claim about VP Cheney sending him to Niger.

Lastly, if you didn't even have knowledge that Joe Wilson make such a claim about VP Cheney, then why did and does your office publicly and repeatedly offer as an explanation for its obsession with Joe Wilson and his wife that the VP and his office were countering the false claim that Joe Wilson made when he allegedly stated that VP Cheney sent him to Niger?

Could you find it within yourself to alert the entire Republican Party that the claim that Joe Wilson made this false claim about VP Cheney is false?

Thanks for your attention.

Oh, by the way, do you have a valid reason why your office demonstrated an obsession with Joe Wilson and his wife, pulled classified documents, shared classified documents, and dispersed classified information with unauthorized individuals on Joe Wilson and his wife after it became apparent that Joe Wilson took exception to the 16 untrue ("recently") words the President used in his 2003 State of the Union speech?

Thanks again for your attention.

1. Er.... The investigation is ongoing.
We don't comment on ongoing investigations, especially ones that are still being investigated, and those in which the investigation that is ongoing is still going on. When the ongoing investigation is no longer ongoing, nor still entails investigation of an ongoing type, then we may be able to comment, although since the investigation is ongoing, I'm not going to let you people try and direct this questioning to a line that I've already answered regarding the ongoing-ness of this ongoing investigation.

Furthermore, we are not, I repeat NOT, going to play the blame game.

Next question.... yes, go ahead, Les.

2. Most Americans don't care.
Things like this and the war and the price of oil play no role in their lives. They are focused on space travel. We need a president bold enough to call a press conference, and refuse to discuss anything but his plans to land on mars within the next decade or two. This is the spiritual nourishment they people need. Bush is brave enough to lead us where no other president has.

The questions in the original post are absolutely perfect. Right on target. They should be sent to as many journalists as possible. Just like with Scooter lying to investigators and the grand jury, one can only conclude that the VP's office is lying in order to hide something. The media needs to ask what it is they are hiding.

4. I have another question.
What difference does it make if Valerie Wilson recommended her husband for the job? Clearly, the man was qualifed IF the purpose of the trip was to discover the truth.

Since Cheney and Libby had no intention of listening to inconvenient truths, Wilson was not qualifed for the trip because he clearly was NOT a partisan hack who would report what they wanted him to report.
