credentials or background for making the Niger trip and that his report clearly did not debunk the claim that Saddam was trying to purchase yellow cake and the other Repub talking head said (unchallenged) that Valerie Plame did have a role in sending her husband to Niger.

Now, I ask you, how can these people continue to get away with making such statements? "Having a role" in sending her husband to Niger is clearly true but no one is present to say just what that role was. Are we to believe that Valarie was in a position to send her husband on such a mission WITHOUT the CIA asking that this be done? Please get this: IN ORDER FOR VALARIE PLAME TO EVEN KNOW ABOUT THE NEED FOR SUCH A TRIP MEANS THAT SHE WAS EITHER CONTACTED BY THE CIA OR SOMEONE HIGH UP IN THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION. Otherwise, there was no way she could have even known of such a need for this investigation as requested by Cheney. Cheney may not have personally sent Wilson on the trip but the CIA was acting in response to a request from Cheney's office for such an investigation. I am so sick and tired of the RW talking heads continuing to state lies as fact without being publically challenged right at the time they make such statements.
