I believe the likeness is uncanny.

Jason Alexander is good, but Michael Ironsides (the perfect villian) would be better.

17. I was just thinking that! He was brilliant in Capote.
He's brilliant, period.

And he does *look* a lot like Rove, worse luck for him. That'd be one hell of a role, though...

48. My FIRST THOUGHT!
He is a bit young, but he could do it.

Another is Mike Chicklas...he is rather beefy/fit now, but he could do it...very talented guy.

8. Peter Lorre. . .
he'd have to pack on a few pounds, and I'm sure his voice wouldn't be quite right (even though I've never heard Rove), it'd definitely fit Rove's sleaziness.

Edited on Sat Oct-29-05 05:42 PM by herbster
Remember the episode where George takes his old frat buddies to an execution and Karl sucks the last breath out of the executed man's mouth?

The show was cancelled after September 11, 2001 out of fear and respect.

edit: If you aren't familiar with the show, take a look at the expanded episode descriptions. Just follow the link I included above. It was my favorite television show while it lasted.

He's gone, but if you've ever seen it you'll never forget the scene from "Kiss of Death (1947)" where he's laughing hysterically while pushing an old-lady in a wheelchair down the stairs!

You know what I do to squealers? I let 'em have it in the belly, so they can roll around for a long time thinkin' it over. You're worse than him, tellin' me he's comin' back? Ya lyin' old hag!

An at least one time great actor. For some reason I flashed on him in the title role in "The Pawnbroker" when I read your question. He also played Mussolini in 1974. That's good practice for the role.
