Wille Brown part of the transition
I just heard that Willie Brown is part of the ARNOLD(I refuse to say governor) transition team. How did that happen? So does that mean that the democrats are handing California to Dubya on a silver platter?
Damn, you got to admit the ARNOLD'S team are smart! They got the most liberal, prominent democrats on their team, then Dubya is gonna give them federal money to get the State out of a bind.
Now it is 2004, Dubya campaigns in Cali, the economy is doing better, Arnold is going to say that Dubya is for the people like him and is open to all people. Masterful, simply masterful.
DAMN!!!!

1. Remember Willie Brown got a personal warning not to fly commercial air
in the weeks before 9-11. Not saying he's actually a part of team BCE/PNAC, but for whatever reason, they seem to like him a lot more than the average Democratic mayor.

2. Willie Brown has always served corporate interests
I voted against him in all of the SF elections. It doesn't surprise me at all that he's whoring himself out to Schickelgroper.

3. boy that is weird!
Especially when you consider that Willie Brown was going to personallly start a "recall Ahnold" campaign the day after the sElection we just witnessed. :wtf:

Maybe Ahnold's trying to make friends out of enemies might I suggest.

Ahnold: GOOD LUCK WITH WILLIE BROWN BECAUSE YOU'LL BE NEEDING IT!!!!

4. I'm confused...
Not unusual, I know, :) but, I thought Willie Brown is the one who said he would "personally" finance a recall on Arnold? Didn't he say that?

5. Maybe Recalling Arnold...
...is part of the transition.

Arnold is sworn in, he drops the 9Bil lawsuit, signs off on deregulation, then resigns as a "Recall Arnold" campaign gears up. Much quicker and cleaner than what Bush is doing with his stolen office...

6. Californians need to tell Arnold
Edited on Sun Oct-12-03 01:08 PM by StClone
NO!

Why would a state kiss off billions just to give Schwarzenegger a clean slate with which to govern.

Recall! Yes they can. As I warned, Arnold is not what he says and will do what the scammers want. This is all too well-planned to be ignored.

7. I'm torn
I want California to get out of their difficulties, but this transition team is rubbing me the wrong way.
I am so mad at the California democratic party, I don't know what to do. They should have gotten off the asses and found a credible democrat to run against Arnold, instead of trying to stop the recall, when over 50% of the voters wanted Gray out.
Here's a radical thought! Maybe we should start campaigning like the Republicans, just going all out.

14. Willie's being term-limited out of office
and will need a new job come, I think, 2004. Perhaps he's cozying up to the new boss to petition for a new position?

This doesn't surprise me; Brown is a special-interest-humping sleazeball. He did get a damn nice ballpark built, though.

10. I thought so
Hmmm.... very interesting. Maybe having an "inside" to the Arnold Governorship will be beneficial, eh? I think this could be interesting unless Arnold "charms" Willie too?
and he has a change of heart?

11. The transition team is just the staging of extras....
Think of this as a movie...these extras are only
there to look like Arnie has a whole team to take
over the governance of CA...the real sh*t will
be done in the backrooms by Pete Wilson's crew,
George Schultz and Rove via Dreier.

Arnie wants you to think no one is already doing
these jobs in Sacramento...

Plus just think of the fundraising these folks
will do for Bush....
Willie just wants a bit part in this production and
it's so much easier to shut up your opponents if
they are standing in back of you on a stage.
