Irving Lewis Libby = I.L.L.
Edited on Sat Oct-29-05 10:10 AM by Stephanie

"ILL"

No wonder he goes by the child's nickname "Scooter."

I. Lewis 'Scooter' Libby, Vice President Dick Cheney's former chief of staff, left, is driven to his house by an unidentified man, Friday, Oct. 28, 2005, in McLean, Va. Libby, who resigned today as Cheneys chief of staff, was indicted on charges of obstruction of justice, false statement and perjury on charges related to the leaking of classified information which revealed the name of a CIA officer's identity. 3. How he got to be called Scooter >

"White House Letter: Novelist in Chief of Staff's Clothing"

Mr. Libby will at least talk about his nickname, which he got the day his father watched him crawling across his crib and joked, 'He's a Scooter!'

'I love it,' said Mr. Libby, 51, of his nickname. 'There is a tendency in Washington for people to take themselves a little too seriously, and it's pretty hard to take yourself seriously when your name is Scooter.'"

4. He definitely looks more like
an Irving than Scooter. But on the other hand, what grown man looks like a Scooter?
