My psychiatrist testified in a Fitzgerald case some years back
He was assigned by the court to see if a defendant was malingering in his claim of amnesia, and determined that he was. Though he was not a prosecution witness per se, he did talk to Fitzgerald and was favorably impressed by him.

1. I imagine the only people not favorably impressed by Fitzgerald
are those whom he is prosecuting or their supporters.

2. Is this guy out of Central Casting, or what?
I mean, Gary Cooper in all his "High Noon" glory, only 'way smarter and really uber-hip.

He's been characterized as "the most dangerous prosecutor in America." Don't you think President Fuckface is - right this minute - punching holes in pictures of Fitzgerald?

3. LOL. That's how I've been thinking of him, as the Gary Cooper type.
The putzident is either punching holes in pictures of Fitzgerald or he's punching holes in the wall. We'll see if he shows up next week with abrasions on his knuckles attributed to "falling off his bike," (which I personally think is a euphemism for falling off the wagon.)

8. I have him more as Harrison Ford playing
Jack Ryan. But then again I've been consoling myself with Clancy novels whilst this abomination is in control of my country.

4. On Nancy Skinner's show Friday, someone was talking about how
he once left two pans of lasagne in the oven for two days...That's how intense he can be.

Now THAT is what I would call forgetful Mr Libby.

6. You are right....!
From the Washington Post:

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/10/26/AR2005102602524.html

snip-
Fitzgerald's noir mystique was only strengthened this week by news accounts relating that in contrast to the rapier focus of his mind, Fitzgerald lives in a bachelor apartment with old socks stuffed in the desk drawer and three-month-old lasagna stiffening in the oven

10. Where is Nancy Skinner broadcasting from these days?
And when? She used to be on Chicago 890 on Sunday afternoons. Then she ran for office and they kicked her off. I lost track of her.
