On Meet The Press tomorrow:
Could be a lively discussion:

Sunday, October 30
Ken Duberstein, Hamilton Jordan, Leon Panetta, Michael Beschloss, David Broder, David Brooks, Judy Woodruff and William Safire

Trouble in the White House: Where does the Bush administration go from here? This Sunday's Meet the Press assembles three former White House Chiefs of Staff -- each with experience in political damage control: Ken Duberstein, Former Chief of Staff for President Ronald Reagan; Hamilton Jordan, Former Chief of Staff for President Jimmy Carter; and Leon Panetta, Former Chief of Staff for President Bill Clinton. They will be joined by Presidential Historian Michael Beschloss to discuss the Libby indictment, the Miers withdrawal, and other challenges facing the Bush White House.

Then, what does the future hold for Scooter Libby and Karl Rove? What is the next step in the leak investigation? What will be the fallout from the withdrawn Miers nomination, and what can we expect from the President in terms of a new pick for the Supreme Court? We will have the latest insights and analysis with David Broder of the Washington Post, David Brooks and William Safire of the New York Times, and Judy Woodruff, Former Anchor of "Inside Politics."

2. I imagine he's been encouraged not to talk about
his involvement in case there is a trial.

4. Timmy should take the day off
and let someone else moderate the show.

It is totally inappropriate for him to lead these sort of discussions since he is now a key figure in the investigation.

5. Judging by the guests it will not be about Bush's problems
but how past Admins have dealt with "scandal". Sounds like a pile of horseshit to me. Ignore the substance and talk about Nixon, Clinton etc. F You Russert.

7. What you said. A rather uninspiring line-up. Sounds like...
... the Charlie Rose show, ferchrissakes. How about some other POVs?

6. Should be interesting to see what Woodruff says
She was the chief Koolaid mixer and distributor during the runup to war and it's aftermath.
