1. This is something I believe fervently,

and "knew" before I even read Dante's works. I have tried to always act accordingly.

If only those Americans who are too tired and beaten-down, too otherwise occupied, too disillusioned, or too complacent to get involved politically in this country today would read these words and be inspired enough to participate, I truly believe things would be different right now... or, at the very least, be changing for the better even as I write this.

Thanks, paineinthearse, this is not only a lovely way to start the day, but also a powerful call to arms.

4. At the Town Hall Meeting with John Conyers here in Detroit in July, a

friend of the Wilsons and ex-CIA agent said they are just normal everyday people. That she is just a typical mom, and he adores her. That makes this all the more sick.
