What does "the Aspens are turning/have turned" mean?
Who are the Aspens and how did they get their name? Was it during a meeting in Aspen, Colorado or something?

Maybe I'm just a :dunce:

1. it apparently refers to the fact that aspens actually are all part of a
single root structure (like mushrooms and saguaros) and they grow and act in concert.

3. Okay
I never thought it was about THAT sort of Aspen. I literally was thinking that The Aspens were some kind of secret sect that were similar to The Bilderbergers or something! :)

4. You
Silly thing you ;)

That was clever though. If I wasn't so tired and if I hadn't have had so many shots of Tequila...well then, I might have even thought of that myself!

8. I am finding that many of these think tanks over lap
in membership. The bipartisanones have neoncons representeing the conservative movement because it seems that the neocons are the brains for then conscum.

An interesting guy here is Joseph Nye, Jr.,who speaks of soft power. he is worth a thread one day.

11. The CFR and the Trilateral Commission are similar

I must say, I'm not exactly opposed to such bipartisan groupings and President Clinton has been a member of both of the above.

13. I read somewhere that Aspen is the name of Bush's cabin at Camp David.
I don't know if that has anything to do with Libby's cryptic message but who knows.

14. Yes, right.
Aspen is the Presidential Cabin at Camp David. Google searches tell us it's a lodge with a conference room and a patio for press conferences. It was used intensively in 2002-early 2003, during the run-up to "Shock and Awe."

So there is that reference as well.

No doubt many of the Aspen members met at both locations--and also at the Aspen Berlin location.

15. Shock and awe,I cried like a baby when we were bombing Baghdad,a
man in my office acted like it was video game, cheering it on. That was a hang my head and cry day in American history.

Maybe the turning of the Aspens means the warmongers know their gig is over, they have wrought nthing but damage to America, death and destruction in the ME. Maybe the real power in America, the Bilderberger gang, says enough is enough.
