5. yeah, me too. We're going to wait a week for the furor to quiet a bit

around here and set up some kind of appreciation thread for the few generous souls who capture and post video/audio material. This is such a major contribution. Even for those with cable it's important for examination, sharing, discussion and archiving. For cable-less people like you and me, there's no other way.

7. Interesting. It shows his cynicism. I hope he's pleased to be wrong that

time - he's so very often right and has a memory that awes people like Keith Olbemann. I recall Keith writing once in his blog about how he was chatting about baseball with John Dean and he realized that Dean was quoting game statistics of obscure teams from decades ago FROM MEMORY. Sounds like a photographic memory. He always has interesting things to say, too.

9. I think being so close to the center of such power must be rather

intoxicating to a lot of people. Not only are you speaking to the most powerful, famous people in the world every day, they are LISTENING to YOU and everybody else is deferential to you because of your position.

He did come clean and stayed that way, which is more than the others did.

Another brilliant guy is Bobby Inman, an Admiral and director of the NSA. Read an article a long time ago about how scary-smart he is. During the Cold War, when war games were conducted, his forces would always win.
John Rothman is another genius who worked for Nixon.

Will the judge in Scooter's trial wilt under the maladministration's claim of "national security" and close down the trial coverage? As it is, accounting for trial & sentencing time, Scooterz only looken at doin a year er so in prison before * can pardon him on the way out the door in Dec 08.

15. SPIN & LIE ALERT: The 10/29 WaPo has a column full of LIES and an op/ed

that is nothing but a recitation of the GOP talking points on the Fitz case. I urge you to read this thread - you will be SHOCKED, it's that bad. This requires activism, in my opinion, because the articles will be quoted as gospel on the floor of Congress and all over the country. They cannot remain unchallenged.
