10/28/05: The day the Democratic Party got back America's TRUST
For everytime you sat and listened to a Republican crow: "My President would never lie, deceive and cause the disgrace of the White House like Bill Clinton did" ...THIS IS YOUR DAY

For everyday you had to sit and hear about "It wasn't about the affair Clinton had, it was the fact he lied about it" ...THIS IS YOUR DAY

For every moment that you listened to a Republican say "our party is about morality, about integrity and honesty, about what's good and right "...THIS IS YOUR DAY

And for everyime you heard a right wing religous pundit spout about "The will of God and His plan put George Bush in the White House"...THIS IS YOUR DAY

Remember this date. This is the day the Democratic party got back Americas trust. No longer is the American public deceived as the GOP being the "party of morality" over the Democrats. The party became exposed for what they are: lying, cheating, manipulating politicians who will stop at nothing to forward their agenda-even if it's at the cost of 2000+ american soliders and countless innocent Iraqie citizens.

Now the biggest lie of all will be exposed. The one that says Bush went to war over "inaccurate" or "flawed" intelligence. They will now know he went to war after he purposefully, willfully, and intentionally manipulated and twisted the intelligence he knew was there that there were in fact no WMD's, no yellowcake uranuim and no imminent threat to the US.

His impeachment must occur and it will if WE STAND UP and demand our Senators and Congressmen take action. This is your civic and moral duty my fellow DU'ers! Stop sitting back and waiting for someone else to do it. WE have to do it. WE have the evidence to demand Congressional hearings and get Bush out of office.

To quote the outspoken New Orleans Mayor Nagin: "Get off your asses".

LET'S DO THIS!

:nuke: :kick:

1. Its because the press was radicalized by Hurricane Katrina and because
of Fitzgerald and because the public is waking up...not because of our elected reps in Washington. They need to get off their asses and do something...like the Mayor says!

2. The democratic party has not fully regained MY trust.
They need to shed their corporate sponsors and act in the voter's interests instead of stockholder's interests.

4. Let's face it. We also need a message and a vision. But today is a great.
day. No two ways about it.

I grew so fucking tired of hearing Repukes spew their party as the moral party, the honest and true party that brought "integrity" back to the WH.

Paybacks a bitch isnt it?

They became so arrogant that they thought they could push their agenda even it meant lying to Congress and the American public about why we went to war with no recourse.

They have been exposed: finally.

5. Face it. We need to replace the ones we got there with new ones!
You got Charles Schumer saying knowing what he knows today he'd still vote for the war because he feels its important to fight terrorisim? Pandering to his Jewish roots? He's gotta go. That was the biggest lie the administration used to convince the public the war was just...they tied it to terrorisim and one of our own is out there stating that as fact TODAY? We need Paul Hackett and others like him to send these pandering bastards back to private industry.

6. I'm happy things are happening.
And unlike others, I remain cautiously optimistic that the parade is not over.

But we need change, in a big way.

7. Seriously, come on...
If the polls that show <50% approval ratings for BOTH parties don't clearly communicate that the Dems need to do more to regain America's trust than wait in the sidelines while the GOP self destructs, then I don't know what does.

8. It will take more than this. You don't regain trust by
the other guy self-destructing.
