Just watching Patrick Fitzgerald stand up there and have SO much respect for the law and SO much dignity, and hold his duty to this country in such high regard is such an awesome sight that I want to cry. There is such a derth of people like him, especially in power in this country, and he makes these criminals look even worse in comparison.

You have to look at this guy ans see that he is the solution to what is wrong with this world.

Fitz spoke in plain language that people can understand, that's a gift. Didn't you love the way he said her cover was blown. He reminded me at time's of Larry Johnson, who said the exact same thing...only most people never saw the C-Span hearings - held in the basement.

For the first time in 135 years, someone in the inner circle of the WH blew the cover of a CIA agent. At least now, most of America will know what this indictment means.

I was so thrilled to have someone from this administration held accountable for the treachery of this administration.

And I know it's just a movie, but I was watching this old movie a week ago called "Fail-Safe" about a nuclear accident (made in 1964) and Henry Fonda played the president and he was working SO DAMN hard to fix things, to make things right. He was thoughtful, smart, and deliberate. He had great diplomacy. Thought decisions through thoroughly.

I was sitting there marveling. I haven't seen a president like that in.....well, five years or so.

I couldn't stop listening to the Fitzgerald press conference today. He struck me as a truly good person.

I felt very proud watching it.. that sounds odd. But it felt like history, it felt important. It felt like for once, something fucking went right in the system.
