My very good psychologist friend is concerned about how * will react.
What will * do if he's backed into a corner? My psychologist friend is not very political, but he figured out * was bad news pretty quickly. Now he's worried about actions the * admin will take to stay in power and avoid being held accountable.

I wonder if we should bring this up to our representatives.

2. I hope he gets caught on tape ...
... whooping it up in the White House in his bunny pants! Screaming at the top of his lungs "I'm a little tea-pot, short and stout! Here is my handle here is my spout!"

3. Another friend just sent me this:
A few minutes ago, Fernando Velazquez of KPFK News
recalled a period in 1973 to 1974 where members
Nixon's staff, including Kissinger and Hague, where
having to keep Nixon away from the Red Button, which
they feared he would use, perhaps on Asia to divert
attention. (Albeit, it's hard for me to imagine
Kissinger doing anything heroic like this.)

If Nixon was capable of doing that, then Bush and
Cheney...

As you can see in the headlines, Bush has been
referring to Syria and Iran as "outlaw" nations.

I hope Valazquez's statement will appear on KPFK's
website (KPFK.org). So far it hasn't.

11. Not for a moment would they let Shrub near the football.
The key is in the hands of the JCS and designated national command authority officers. Bush couldn't launch on his sole authority even if he held a gun to his own head.

Don't worry about that. Be very concerned about some frigging act of provocation by Sharon, and an overreaction by Iran. That's a catastrophe waiting to happen, unless there's another round of blunt talks with the Israeli Air Force command.

Blair and the rest need to cool it, already, about the Iranian President's impolitic comment the other day. That isn't cause for war.

12. Fake football
The real one is kept near Cheney (He gets cranky when he's not near the doomsday button). The one Bush travels with is actually a "See-And-Say" (The General says "Bombs Away).

21. yes, shouldn't Bush be on his best diplomatic behavior just about now?
Instead he is hiding and throwing tantrums when he has an important job to do (calming people down in the Middle East). Seems there was a time when a US President would be out there, um, PREVENTING wars?

4. A good opportunity...
For a decompensation, no doubt. But not yet. A few more indictments are needed. Right now, they are letting their delusion and denial tell them that they contained the damage to just Libby.

9. You're probably correct. At this point, he can probably maintain denial.
Um, let's call it "plausible denial." :D It's at least plausible to him, eh? Maybe his handlers know they must maintain that bubble.

5. concerned? I'm looking forward to watching him self-destruct
Hopefully there will be plenty of collateral damage - all self-contained within his own administration.

Cheney, Rove, Condi, Rummy, Wolfie, Hughes, etc.

7. Martial law?
I heard heavy choppers overhead about 1/2 hour before the press conference.

Are we going to find ourselves in the middle of another terror alert and possible military lockdown?
