Syria, Iran, etc. Or at least he has nailed the coffin shut. By extending this investigation into the future this cloud over Bush is not going away and will likely get bigger. No way can he move into Syria as all this unfolds. Imagine if Fitz can connect all the dots, Niger forged document, WHIG, Cheney's energy task force, etc... I think extending the GJ investigation is MUCH more important than a Rove indictment right now. This could easily extend to November '06.

This puts yet another roadblock in front of the Bush/Cheney Warmongering Train Of Death.

Let us not forget what happened in the run-up to the war. Saddam cooperated with the inspectors, and the Security Council didn't approve the invasion. But Bush went ahead anyway.

Sure, this is a roadblock. But we shouldn't stop putting up as many additional roadblocks as possible.
