Not like I'm as much of an expert as the Fox lawyers, but thats how I thought things normally waent...

3. Depends every sentence in different, but yes usually charges and cases
sentenced at the same time do run concurrent unless the judge thinks that the sentences should run consectutive.

6. Apparently the sentencing guidelines kick in here
Because of the nature of the crimes and the level at which they were committed the penalties max out and consecutive sentences are mandated.
