Anybody Think The bu$h Crime Family Has Threatened Fitzgerald?
I hope Fitz is protected, and any of his family members too. I bet if he was threatened, he'd be quiet.

18. Took slightly longer than the 18 seconds I predicted?
At the same time, I may be the only person on DU to accurately predict that ONLY Libby would be indicted, and ONLY for false statements to the grand jury.

OK, OK. The investigation is continuing (or so they say), but that's still a pretty good read of the news from earlier this week, yeah?

12. Yeah, some people know you stand up to bullies and threats
There are public servants who really serve the public. Something BFEE does not understand, but those publice servants are there none the less.

The nation is not just defended by troops in uniform. It is defended daily by people, in all walks of life, doing the right thing.

Bless them, every one!

5. Fitz has had experience
with the mob so I don't think Dubya and the gang are anything new to him.

6. Fitzgerald is single
though he does have a cat. His father, a doorman, lives in Brooklyn, I think (apologies if it was another borough). Hope Fitzgerald Sr. is watching his back today.

9. there is no evidence for that
Fitzgerald has dealt with major Mafia people, he didn't get scared away then. If someone threatened him, he would just file additional charges.

11. I doubt it. Evil as they are, they aren't that stupid!
You have to remember why Fitz is investigating. It was at the demand of the CIA! I seriously doubt there's anyone dumb enough to threaten a prosecutor AND (indirectly) the CIA too!

13. Probably would only happen if Poppy gave it
his "seal of approval". I think Poppy's pretty pi$$ed at his son, and we know he has problems with Rove.

17. Threaten == indictment
I'm sure that threatening a federal prosecutor is a high felony. Where do you guys get these ideas? What do you think Fitz would do if he was threatened?

I'll tell you what. He'd get an indictment and the perp would be remanded without bond faster than you could say, "It's hard work."
