On April 4th, 2004, Army Specialist Casey Sheehan was killed by terrorists in Baghdad.

On June 17th, his parents, Patrick and Cindy Sheehan, met with President George W. Bush. Following their meeting, Cindy Sheehan remarked, "I now know he's sincere about wanting freedom for the Iraqis. I know he's sorry and feels some pain for our loss. And I know he's a man of faith." She said he brought her family the "gift of happiness."

Five months later, Cindy Sheehan claimed that President Bush's Policies "murdered child." Just one year after meeting with the President, Sheehan called the meeting "one of the most disgusting experiences I ever had."

Now Cindy Sheehan, along with her contingent of left-wingers, is protesting in front of the White House tonight -- and planning to be arrested. In conjunction
with "vigils" around the country, the left-wingers are morbidly capitalizing on the 2000th death for our troops in Iraq.

Sheehan deserves rebuke for her ghoulish die-ins and continued abuse of fallen soldiers by putting their names on bracelets to be handed out as cheap souvenirs to those who join her in playing dead in front of the White House.

The fact is, Cindy Sheehan has been USED by radical left-wing groups like MoveOn.org and anti-war protestors -- groups like the anti-Semitic "Crawford Peace House," "United for Peace and Justice" (who led the anti-Bush marches at the GOP convention last year), "Code Pink" (who disrupted INSIDE the convention hall), the far-left "Air America" radio network, plus loony leftists like Reps. John Conyers and Maxine Waters, and even MICHAEL MOORE himself.

These people don't care about Cindy Sheehan. They don't care about her son. They don't care about the troops. All they care about is their political "hate-America" agenda. Cindy's own family has released a statement about this whole ordeal: "She now appears to be promoting her own personal agenda and notoriety at the the expense of her son's good name and reputation. The rest of the Sheehan Family supports the troops, our country, and our President..."

It's time for YOU AND I to show OUR support for the troops, our country, and our President, too -- and here's a way YOU can do that, TONIGHT, in your own local area.

TAKE ACTION: These far-left groups are all planning "local vigils" around the country TONIGHT, where they claim they're going to "acknowledge the sacrifices made" in the War on Terror. But they're LYING -- you can BET that they will be holding signs that say the kinds of things that Cindy Sheehan has been saying for the past few months -- things like "Bush is a maniac," "Bush is a lying b_stard," "George Bush killed my son," "Casey Sheehan died for oil,"
"Casey died for American Imperialism"... it just goes on and on.

These leftists have shown over and over again that they HATE America, and they certainly HATE President Bush. One supporter of Cindy Sheehan called in to Air America and said, "Osama Bin Laden had it right: His throat should be slit!"

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. The mainstream media has been hyping Cindy Sheehan and the far-left antics of her "friends" for months now, over and over ad nauseum. We need to show that the majority of Americans LOVE this country, and SUPPORT our president and our troops.

NOTE: We counter-protested these local "vigils" back in August too, and even on short notice, it was a great success: Katherine Huffmaster and her 7-year-old daughter Devin of Novi MI printed out our signs & stood for two hours across the street from the leftists, with hundreds of supportive honks from passerby; Sophie Clark of Columbus OH walked at the local "vigil" where the other side didn't even bother to show up; Walter Savell stood silently in support of the troops 15 feet from the leftist rally in Temecula CA (and
even reminded the pastor there to come back at the end to pray for the troops); and 15-year-old Shane took our signs to a leftist protest in Boise ID that garnered quite a few reactions -- and he even took pictures:

previous candle light vigils have been just concerned people with candles, very nice. last night several other lefty groups were out there with big banners promoting their own agendas not related to the 2000 deaths vigil, so we were hijacked. our small group left rather than appear to endorese one particular group we do not think should be pimping on this occasion.

I have also seen what appear to be righty groups posing as lefty to make us look bad. No proof, but things where ... something just seemed wrong, and they were overly aggressive about everything, and sometimes by right wing catch phrases slipped into conversations.

just the buffoons running it into the ground. I guess that is too much nuance for this everything is "black or white" crowd (mostly white, of course...)
