because while a powerful Hurricane, Wilma paled in comparison to Katrina. FEMA and Jeb are doing pretty mediocre in the first days after Wilma. Whoda thunk it. I guess they'd really be fucked if Katrina hit Miami deadon. Please tune in and listen to rush limbaugh and sean hannity trash the governor of Florida for his response to a storm weaker then Katrina. You know how much integrity they have. The trashing is inevitable.

Maybe Chertoff could call in Michael Brown for consultation, after he has dinner of course.

1. Limbaugh & Hannity are trashing Jeb? That's news in itself!
Why are they turning on their beloved idol's brother?

2. I apologize
I guess I'm not very good at sarcasm. limbaugh and his ilk easily turn on a democratic governor (Blanco of Louisiana), even though her storm was more powerful and her state not as resource heavy as Florida. There will be no criticism of any disaster relief underway in Florida by those who make a living hating others.

3. Thanks, Bosshog.
I agree. What bothers me is that Blanco isn't in the position to defend herself right now; she needs all the federal assistance she can get. To pile on Rovian political smears at this period of vulnerability is sick & evil. I hope the opportunity comes for Blanco to tell it like it is.

4. Actually NOLA weathered Katrina...the canal maintenance
or lack of it is what did them in..

and ANY Florida or Texas storm will be handles in a "different" way..
