WASHINGTON, Oct. 26 /U.S. Newswire/ -- A daily service of the DNC, "Mr. Bush, Tear Down That Stone Wall" will highlight a specific fact that has been revealed and what Americans deserve to know about the White House's involvement in the improper and possibly illegal disclosure of an undercover CIA agent's identity for political gain.

WHAT'S BEEN UNCOVERED

Sept. 2003: Cheney Claimed He Didn't Know Who Sent Wilson to Niger. Vice President Cheney went on Meet the Press on September 14, 2003 to deny that he knew who sent Joe Wilson to Niger to investigate claims about Iraqi efforts to obtain yellowcake uranium there:

VICE PRES. CHENEY: No. I don't know Joe Wilson. I've never met Joe Wilson ... I don't know who sent Joe Wilson. He never submitted a report that I ever saw when he came back. ...I don't know what the truth is on the ground with respect to that, but I guess--like I say, I don't know Mr. Wilson. I probably shouldn't judge him. I have no idea who hired him...

MR. RUSSERT: The CIA did.

VICE PRES. CHENEY: But who in the CIA? I don't know. (Meet the Press, 9/14/03)

3 Months Earlier: Cheney Told Libby That Plame Sent Her Husband to Niger. The Washington Post reported that, three months earlier, on June 12, 2003, Cheney's chief of staff, I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby Jr. met with Cheney and "recorded in his notes that Cheney relayed to him that Wilson's wife may have had a role in Wilson taking the CIA-sponsored mission to Niger." (Washington Post, 10/26/05)

Today: GOP Pundit Said, "Middle America... Would Call That a Lie." This morning, pundit and former Republican Congressman Joe Scarborough said of Cheney's misleading comment: "In Middle America, voters would call that a lie." (The Today Show, 10/26/05)

WHAT AMERICANS DESERVE TO KNOW

Why did Cheney falsely tell the American people that he did not know who sent Wilson to Africa three months after he told his chief of staff that Wilson's wife had a role in it? If Cheney was willing to mislead to Tim Russert, was he willing to mislead Patrick Fitzgerald? What is Cheney trying to cover up? Who else is involved in the cover up?

103 DAYS

Since The American Public Learned That A White House Official With Security Clearance Leaked The Identity Of A Covert CIA Operative.
