Somebody's Lying...
Dick Cheney says George Tenet told him. George Tenet says that is not so. Scooter Libby at first said reporters told him. Then he said Dick Cheney told him. Somebody's lying.

Why are they lying unless they have something to hide? And why are they trying to hide something if it is not illegal? What are they afraid of? If they are innocent, why not just tell the truth? Is that really so complicated?

Those that talk about the complexity and the confusion of this investigation fail to see that the complexity is created for cover. Some people do not wish to be exposed. Why" Because they have something to hide...

2. It is all pretty delicious. I'm going to bed, but
the magnitude of this is delicious. I pray the people who are involved get exposed.

3. And what caused them to panic at Joe Wilson's claim
Edited on Tue Oct-25-05 11:39 PM by Lex
that Niger hadn't sold uranium to Iraq?

Why the over-kill on him?

It's not like the press would give Wilson very much attention anyway.

4. I wonder if George Tenet might sing?
I don't have a particularly good opinion of George Tenet but I do wonder if he has been interviewed in any way by Patrick Fitzgerald or if he might sing to the press or in court. A few articles here and there seemed to point that Tenet was not going to take all the blame for intelligence failures. Seems that the Plame investigation may be a good vehicle for that.

5. "Why are they lying...?"
Because it's the way they've gotten and gotten away with everything... so far. Besides, it's really all they're good at. Lying is all they do because it's all they know.

7. If Cheney was told on the 12, and the memo was in the state department on
the 10th - then it would be Bolton or Bolton's aide. The one who then got transfered to right beside Cheney at the WH.

Oh - and Powell and Armitage? The #1, 2 in the State Department? They didn't get the State Department Memo dated June 10 till that plane ride to Africa.

Et tu Bolton?
