Cool. They just had a moment of silence for Rosa Parks
at the World Series game. And now Aaron Neville is singing God Bless America. (I know, some DUers, including me, have wished they would stop doing that, but I can't argue with hearing AN sing it.)

...they focused the camera on Babs. Remember - these-folks-are-making-out-better-in-the-aftermath-of-Katrina Babs? Made me want to puke.

3. Yeah, I didn't like that part either
but hearing Aaron Neville sing took a little of the "ooh, ick!" out of it!

4. True - HIM I love.
And the Rosa Parks song they did is great (and I thought of that while looking at Babs) so I guess it was okay overall. :-)

7. It was only GBA
I was humming Sister Rosa Parks to myself (not nearly as well as he would have sung it, I assure you!) to get over seeing Babs' face!

8. I'm sorry, but ...
that was the shortest "moment of silence" I've ever experienced. Five seconds at most. It smacked of opportunism and lip service.

9. Would you rather they had done nothing?
I agree, it was too short, but my opinion is, better that than nothing.

10. To be honest, yes.
I felt duped. It was a cheap attempt at pr.
