About Fitzmas: Humor is powerful. Joy is powerful.
One of the Right's greatest strengths is their ability to laugh at us.

Mean, inaccurate and cheap though it might be when Repiglicans do it, it is potent.

When we were in power they laughed at us. When they were in power they laughed even more.

And when we were in power it was with Bill Clinton, the most jovial fun loving president in my memory.

Jon Stewart has done more with the daily show to educate and expose than any number of pious pundits. Not that there isn't room for them too, because there is.

We're best when we're joyous. When we laugh we are strong.

This is a good thing.

3. Thank you, mondo joe. You sum it up well.
We, too, can laugh, and it will be useful as well as fun.

Ridicule has brought down many a bully, so I'm in.

4. When I was younger I had recurring nightmares about
various bad people out to hurt me, and feeling literally paralyzed and unable to save myself.

One night unable to move I finally managed to make a sound - I laughed. And that set me free. I've never had a nightmare like that again.

5. The Most Potent Political Tool is Ridicule
It brought down many a pol.

Check out Tea-Pot Dome and the cartoons.

when the last shoe drops within 3 months, Bush will be the worst ever, and laughed out of office.

After the indictments comes:

Miers will be shot down and withdraw, causing embarrassment.

The Iraq War will be a catastrophic failure.

Home heating bills and gas prices will turn his base against him. Retail stores will have a horrible holiday season.

The economy will stall, and then sour.

I don't want these things to happen, but how can they be avoided with a nit-wit in charge of this country?

10. Yer right in a way
I disagree about the reichts sense of humor. They use viscious attacks on character. Some may find that amusing but only extreme idiots like you see at Freepersmell or lil green assholes.

Now we are truly funny. We know how to laugh and appreciate a good sense of humor. I joke about this fitzmas but if it makes you guys happy, have at it. I like to play the curmudgeon role occasionally. Its just my way of poking fun at you idiots who use that stupidass word.

:)
