I heard the skinny guy on MSNBC the other morning use the word "prejudge"
about the hurricane, as in "We don't want to prejudge when and at what category the hurricane will be" Until the Repubs brought out that stupid phrase, I don't think I ever heard it before and it's silly that it is entering into common usage.

4. Not talking about the dictionary origins of the word but it's entry into
common usage, including using it for comments regarding hurricanes.

Even though it's a fairly common and unremarkable word. Now "newsreaders" - I haven't heard that one since I was in the British Isles. NGU.

2. Guess this is why that exec. order banned govt experts from the media
hurricane experts, that is... Don't wanna prejudge the hurricanes and embarass the government if bad predictions come true.
