Brooks peddling the same B.S. on "This Week"......
that "no one cares about the White House indictments", that "people aren't talking about it". It's quite evident that Brooks has his talking points in order and is disseminating them as widely as possible.
What an asshat! :grr:

5. Now he's saying that, "people don't like the democrats"....
that if there were a vote today the Democrats would win, not because people are deserting the Republican Party and turning to the Democrats, but because the Republicans would "just stay home" and not vote.
Oh...how I look forward to making this piece of shit look MORE stupid than he already looks. Can't they find a brighter Republican shill than Brooks? The man's an ignorant toad! :puke:

9. Geez if the democrats vote and the repugs stay home and not vote
I wonder who would have more votes and win? Sounds like a test question from kindergarten that all the 5 year olds would get right.

7. He also says, let's move past Bush
The Republicans are so hypocritical, they made so much mileage out of
bashing Clinton, they are sill bashing him, now that Bush has done
100 times worse job in office, they say let's move on, let's start to
focus on real issues, (what real issues did they focus on in 04,
Vietnam that's been over for 35 years??????)

10. Anybody get the Sunday NY Times?
He writes an absolutely amazing work of fantasy called "The Savior of the Right" in which he spins mightily about the "success" of compassionate conservatism as "Bush's best legacy".

How there will be a split between "post-Bush" conservatives (pro-government!) and "pre-Bush" conservatives (ie, Gingrichism).

And that "post-Bush" conservatism would win out as the "legacy".

I honestly did not know whether to laugh or puke out my coffee. I stand amazed.

I'd give you a link but now one needs to be a paying member of NYT online, or an existing subscriber.

This is recommended reading for anyone who wants to see David Brooks' head begin to explode!

11. Maybe if all of us email him that we DO care,
it will shock the shit outta him.

dabrooks@nytimes.com

Be sure and put in the title: Plamegate - I care.

That should put a hitch in his get-along.
