Bush: "FREE nations don't develop weapons of mass destruction."
Edited on Sat Oct-22-05 08:23 PM by Bluebear

"We have more work to do in Iraq. A free Iraq, a peaceful Iraq will help change an area of the world that needs peace and freedom. A peaceful Iraq and a free Iraq is part of our campaign to rid the world of terror. And that's why the thugs in Iraq still resist us, because they can't stand the thought of free societies. They understand what freedom means. See, free nations are peaceful nations. Free nations don't attack each other. Free nations don't develop weapons of mass destruction. There will be a free and peaceful Iraq. What's taking place in Iraq is the evolution of a society, to be democratic in nation -- nature, a society in which the people are better off."

So. The USA, for instance, isn't considered "free" anymore?

12. So the MOAB bomb was my imagination?
It was tested publicly right before the war to scare the shit out of the whole world. But I dreamed it right.

He has been making offensive unintentionally ironic comments at record rates lately.

18. sounds right to me
we aren't free. Whatever we are we aren't free. And we produce, and use, more weapons of mass destruction than anyone else. Yep, I'd say the dumbshit was right on.

22. You know, you're right!!
Let's see. A still huge nuclear arsenal. A chemical weapons arsenal, granted not deployed, but still available. Bioweapons? Well, they say we don't have any BUT who really knows if they are telling the truth.

I guess were not free.

19. RIP Irony ( ? - 2005)
Irony was pronounced dead today October 21, 2005 after hearimg president gw bush declare "free nations don't develop weapons of mass destruction".

Irony had been on the critical list since Dec 12, 2000, but had made several recoveries. However after hearing bush's latest statement, Irony was seen to shudder heave a sigh, gasp "I can't take anymore of this" and expire.

Irony is survived by two sons, Disbelief and WTF. Services will be held Monday in the White House Rose garden.

Bush's comment is either insane or dangerously stupid.
