DU'ers railed Salon for Bush coverage yesterday...any praises for today?
I was quite amazed at all those who voiced such displeasure in what I think is still a fantastic voice for stories that normally do not see the light of day. Today, Salon did it again, giving coverage to aspects of Yellowcakegate, that we won't see anywhere else. Give credit where credits due.

1. I agree...the only people who could take issue with their coverage....
are people who only want to have their own opinions parroted back at them. As great as Salon is it's not going to reach a majority of the american public, but it's articles are great enough and well written enough and well researched enough that it serves as a phenomenal tool for any of us who want to spread the word. I love things like Buzzflash and Commondreams but I'm not going to send those to any independent minded moderate whose opinion I'm looking to change.

2. I agree ...
been a long time Salon reader and think that the quality of the site shouldn't be based on what the lead story is. Hell, sometimes it's nice to see a "different" lead and others second or third. They get thier due.

3. They've added three more insightful articles

all concerning this current fiasco, including a damning editorial by Arianna Huffington...not to sound like a Salon whore, but some people really overexaggerate the 'demise' of the site.
