Who just happened to get in there by accident or coincidence, but have secretly met and decided that the reign of Rove has got to end, for the good of the country and for their party.

1. Thats What Should Happen, Mayberry Machiavelli!
But I think that this administration has put very scrupulious and strenuious effort into preventing any semblence of competence into the white house!

2. To Be A Fly On The Wall At Camp David
Who says Rove is at an end? Maybe he's the one setting up the strategy...doing whatever tricks he can within the Executive to maintain influence and power.

Seems the one being hung to dry right now is Scooter. He serves as a good body to dump for several reasons...especially by Rove; hoping he'll take all the heat and Karl somehow skates by. Remember, these are political creatures whose self preservation trumps any true party or "team" loyalty.

3. I think Rove intentionally rooted out all those
in the heyday of his strength.

Ever had a horrible, incompetent boss? They seem to have a sixth sense for detecting competence that might make them look bad, and they destroy those people or make them so miserable they leave.

6. Competence in this administration is indeed a rare comodity
In fact they would be an endagered species or even extinct.

7. No. Word came down...
I don't know where that word came from? But it didn't come from any Republican or Democratic politicians. This word came from someone who is more powerful than them.

8. Just keep in mind....
...that in the world of high power republican politics, with the right sort of compensation, almost anyone will take the fall to protect the booger pickin' moron in the White House.

11. The numbers are unbelievabley high
Many career public servants who have been in government more than 20 years have left since this administration came in. They are not being fired--they just cannot competently do their jobs. And they probably know their asses are on the line when push comes to Rove, I mean shove.
