Freeper says Plame investigation will lead to impeachment
I was trolling over in freepland seeing what they thought of delay.
I found this post.

To: frankjr
This is an unmitigated disaster and could ultimately lead to the impeachment of President Bush.

15. I thought so too
but actually had a couple of maroons argue this with me today and yesterday, the same old tired Lush Rimbaugh line: this is not really a crime, Plame was not NOC, Wilson outed Plame, Nixon was not a crook, and some other assorted BS. Oh yeah - almost forgot; I'm pretty sure they threw a Clinton jab in there somewhere.

6. It sounds like a mole
trying to cause trouble over there.

There will NEVER be an impeachment or a resignation over this minor thing.

10. Minor thing?
It's only minor if you haven't done the research into this thing.

It's so huge--it makes Watergate look like a third-rate burgla...oh, never mind.

20. but there are so many gems! (my comments in blue)
"Bring it on!!!!"

"I could be wrong, but even if it happens I think it's more like the Delay situation."
hahaha! As in someone getting arrested for a crime...? OK!

"If Fitzgerald is thinking 'Among the charges that Mr. Fitzgerald is considering are perjury, obstruction of justice and false statement -' then that is B.S. No underlying crime...but he made some up during the proceedings. Come on Fitz! If those weak charges are made, I hope Bush pardons then promotes any indicted."
Good work being a scumbag, KKKarl. Here's a bigger desk.

"This is real trouble. It shouldn't be. There was no underlying crime and, frankly, if Rove or Libby are charged as the New York Times article describes it would be a reckless and extreme abuse of prosecutorial authority.
What's needed is a counter-offensive. Bush should pardon both Rove and Libby, if they're charged - along with anyone else charged."
I can't believe this crap. Vote GOP: The Soft On Crime Party

"EXACTLY. how absurd is it that the crime being investigated is now a done deal - IE it didn't happen. which is it? Done or didn't?but hey, someone, somewhere, certainly made an inconsistent statement over two years of dullard testimony."

"We face, as I've said before, a conspiracy between the media, the Democratic Party, and certian elements of the judiciary - all of whom have, for all practical purposes, become enemies of the United States.
We need to recognize the danger. Republicans aren't Democrats - the weak sisters among us will fold under pressure."
wow. Sexism, hypocrisy, and idiocy all at once. I wonder how these folks can manage to simultaneously type and breathe sometimes...

"We don't need lifeboats. We need to man the guns.
No surrender, no retreat. We triumph on this hill, or we die on it."
Have at it, Rambo

"It's not really a story about Bush officials Lewis Libby and Karl Rove and their conversations with the press. Rather, it's a story about a CIA bureaucracy working to undermine the Bush administration through the media and cover up for its own mistakes."
yeah. I heard the CIA also sabotaged Brownie too...

"We need to man the guns and prepare to fight to the death. To make sure that wavering Republicans are reminded of the consequnces of joining with the forces of treason.
The Democrats have Vietnam and Watergate in their hearts. They want to repeat it. We need to fight to the death against the repeat of either. No surrender, no retreat, no apologies, no concessions."
tough talk from a bunch of chickenhawks...

"However, you well know the Demonrats do nothing but spew filth in order to slime anyone. all this and irony too!It is my hope that Pres Bush takes off the gloves and starts going on the offensive and takes command of the situations. My only complaint of Bush would be that he appears reacting to some things."uh...because he's guilty?

I feel dirty now. It's really sad and scary that there are people who "think" this way. I guess this is the real reason the NeoCons are destroying our educational systems.

These people ( freepers ) are seriously retarded, and I dare say, a bit dangerous too.

Some of them know they're wrong, but, march right along. Read this:

To: quidnunc
I actually agree with you. And I'm not usually a pessimist.

If this happens...and conservatives sit out in 06—the President is in deep trouble. The dems want payback for all the wrongs of the "evil, corrupt, crony-infested, nazi-like Bush cabal." Oh..and to get back at us for having the unmitigated gall to work our butts off and earn a change in the balance of power they've enjoyed for the last 50 year., And to get back at us for trying to Impeach President Clinton and every other petty little thing they can imagine.

If you don't see this coming, you spend too much time in the echo chamber. I am around a lot of people who are not nearly as politically active as I am. Easily influenced by the msm voters for the President people. And they have given me reason for pause.

I have to tell you, that I have been praying for the President harder than I ever have before. I honestly believe that it will be divine intervention that keeps this boat afloat.

as a Freeper!!

I honestly believe that it will be divine intervention that keeps this boat afloat.

And what if there's no divine intervention? Will they finally get it that God is not all that interested in George Bush?

I wonder how it feels now to be a Freeper ~ they were so certain this administration was going to bring 'dignity back to the WH'. Yeah, like male prostitutes posing as reporters??

They don't even understand what this case is all about. Wait 'til it hits them, treason, spying, lies, corruption, I worry about their survival when the extent of the crimes of this administration finally dawns on them.

Some are too {blessedly, for their own sakes) stupid to ever understand the complexities and seriousness of this case, so those are the ones who will remain convinced it's all Clinton's fault, 'til the bitter end.
