Saddam Hussein's trial has been postponed......

Wouldn't it be cool if we got to watch the plamegate trial on a split screen with Hussein's trial on the other?

Can you imagine it?

I don't know. I have a huge problem with Saddam's trial. It's a kangaroo court, a mockery of justice to put a official sheen on his revenge killing by the very people he oppressed.

Don't get me wrong, I think he needs to stand trial and if found guilty he needs to be punished, but if the Iraqis cannot judge him fairly and it seems they cannot, then they need to turn him over to the ICC. The ICC is certainly not the wrong forum, he's as much an international felon (Iran, Kuwait and Israel as states that have borne his terror come to mind.) as an Iraqi felon.
