I saw the most idiotic bumper sticker ever...
I just got back from Harpers Ferry WV and also visited VA and MD. At a stoplight in Frederick, MD I got behind a big SUV and there it was:
"BUSH my HERO". :puke:

I had to do a double take because I have never seen that particular bumper sticker and I thought I may have misread. I'm actually still in disbelief that anyone would consider the worst president ever as their hero, let alone advertise it!

The vehicle got away before I could get a look at the driver. I so wanted to see what someone that considers bush a hero looks like.

The weekend wasn't totally ruined. I found a great store in Frederick and purchased some bush toilet paper and a car air freshener with his picture that says "bush's dumb-ass head on a string".

If I remember correctly it was at a website called Wipe Your Tush With Bush. No Kidding. Something like $4.95 a roll. They have some on Ebay also.

5. Someone should market that
They had the W ketchup or Republican ketchup out during the election. I sure would gladly buy some W toilet paper.

8. It has his picture and some of his "best" quotes on each sheet
with the date he said it.
"Bring 'em on"
"We need an energy bill that encourages consumption"
"They misunderestimated me"
etc.

According to the package you can order at www.PieHole.net or 1-866-852-5891.

I'm giving the rolls as gifts.

2. S-O-D! I just moved to Frederick!

Or as it's known to my new friends here, "Fredneck." And this after years in the SF Bay area and Europe. Aieeee-yah!

I would have guessed that Frederick had the largest proportion of "support the troops" magnets in America, as evidenced by the fact that if cars park back-to-back, they often have to call the Fire Department to pry them apart. That also explains why the neighbors keep stealing my President Bush doormat (not to worry, I bought a dozen).

But "Bush my Hero"? Now I have to clean my keyboard again.

7. I lived in Frederick for 17 years before moving to NC
Downtown Frederick is very cool, actually more liberal than you would expect since it is surrounded by cornfields, cow pastures and Frednecks.

When I first moved there Ron Young was Mayor. He just won the Democratic ticket and hopefully will be Mayor again.

6. Back in the day
during watergate I had a poster that you taped to the underside of the toilet lid so when you raised it there was tricky dick smiling and his lips were the seat. Wish I'd'a kept it.

11. Probably someone who got a Big Tax Cut and his/her FREE SUV...
...Yes you heard me, FREE SUV!

If you have a business, or even a "Home Business" like I do ;-) (I'm a Photographer/Video Editor), you probably have filled out or used the regular 1040 Tax Form (instead of the 1040A or 1040EZ), and if you are (un)lucky enough to have used the 1040 "long form," hopefully you used something like "TurboTax" or "TaxCut" to help you do your taxes. Why, because after the first year, if you "import" your previously entered info, you can easily "itemize" you taxes, instead of taking the "Standard Deduction," and it only takes 1, maybe 2 days tops!

And if you've been paying attention the last few years, you might have heard about this "SUV" deduction. Here's how it works:

Before the Bush Tax Cuts for the Rich, you could deduct a "Company Vehicle" (that was over 6000 pounds) up to the value of $25,000.00 Dollars. After, the Bush Tax cuts for the rich (passed in 2003 I think) that limit was raised to $100,000.00 Dollars. I think they made the "rules" weaker too, about what is considered a "work vehicle," and with the recent birth of the 6000+ pound SUV... ;-)

I think this falls under the Section 179 deduction, or something similar to that section, which is a TOTAL, take it all in one year, Write off! No depreciation over several years required.

So, for all our new "small business people" out there, what's not to like about *.
