Anyone want to play, "Whose Indictment is it Anyway?"
Does anyone want to take a stab and guess which BushCo thugs will be indicted....and when they will be indicted?

Will there be no indictments? Just a few? Or will Fitz indict the entire Bush cabal and every American citizen who voted for these incompetent oafs?

When and To whom will Fitzgerald say, "Come on Down!"?

The DUer who comes closest to guessing THE DATE and THE NAMES OF THE BUSHCO CONSPIRATORS WHO WILL BE INDICTED--will receive a year's supply of Rice-A-Roni and a paring knife that cuts through a tin can!

Ok, ok...you won't get prizes, but you will get our respect--and you can't put a price on that!

Anyone?

WHO?

WHEN?

12. I like your list too--and here are some of my guesses...
I agree with you about the songbirds. I think this is the key to the entire investigation.

I'm guessing that there are more songbirds than we can imagine. BushCo royally screwed the CIA. Besides outing Plame, they tried to blame the CIA for the "faulty intelligence" on which they based their war. After Goss saturated the place with cronies, I'm sure there are plenty o' CIAers who were more than happy to talk.

I also believe that Miller and Libby are songbirds. I don't buy their very-public letters and, "Oh! I didn't think you wanted me to talk! It was a misunderstanding! Oh, you wanted me to talk a year ago? Ok...now I will talk."

It doesn't make one lick of sense. Staged performances designed to throw off BushCo and protect Miller and Libby until indictments are handed down.

Miller and Libby are rolling over--onto senior-level officials. I bet they've protected themselves too...maybe they've got recordings, emails...who knows. I think their recent public displays are manufactured to make it look as if Miller is outing Libby--and Libby's resigned to the fact that he's going down. It's bunk. They're ratting out Bush and Cheney, and WHIG.

Miller will go down in history as a "Deep Throat"-like character. She'll bring the administration down, write a book about it, make gazillions--and move onto the next neocon project. The neocons are through with Bush. They are DONE. The elitist conservatives who attended the conference in ASPEN--are the "turning aspens that...turn in clusters." Novak said it himself in his recent Sept column, that those elitist Aspen conference attendees have turned against Bush. The neocons know that their agenda is stalled as long as it's attached to Bush. This is how they untangle themselves from him.

Judy and Libby, at the behest of the neocons, are turning on Cheney, Rove, Bush--and the rest of the get-along-gang. Their testimony--combined with evidence from Cooper, Novak, Tenet, Powell and other songbirds--will be used to reinforce evidence from email, phone records--and especially AF1 phone records.

I predict a major, historical meltdown--the likes of which this country has never seen. Total and complete dissolution of this administration.

***I predict indictments on the following for sure:

George W. Bush
Dick Cheney
Karl Rove
Condi Rice
Paul Wolfowitz
Andrew Card
John Bolton

***Singing like canaries, no indictments:
Ari Fleischer
Colin Powell
George Tenet
Jeff Gannon
Mary Matalin

***Singing like canaries and possible indictments:
John Ashcroft
Lewis Libby
Karen Hughes
Steven Hadley

3. Guess
Rove, Libby and Cheney for the crime. Rice for the cover-up. Miller for purjury. Thursday...3:17PM.

as for the prizes I'm not getting if I win...can we make it a year-supply of Boca Burger and a paring knife instead? I'm a veggie. Just asking,

8. OK, I keep seeing all of these predictions of Espionage for Cheney....
I was not aware this was even an option. If so, Great! Does this or does this not cary the death penalty, especially in time of war? If so, does this mean lethal injection or electric chair? Would it not be cheaper to sneak up behind him and pop a paper bag... :)

9. Once you do Cheney for conspiracy
there's gonna be lots of collateral damage. Staffers are going to be indicted also. I see Fleischer as a goner, unless he made like a songbird. WHIG members could be deader than a Tyson chicken.

Rice is also neck deep. She has lied to Congress and to everybody else about it. She may even be a leaker chargeable with the 1982 IIPA.

I like your predictions, though. I think they are close to the mark.

6. Okay, I'll play.
*** Indictments ***

Definite: Rove, Libby, Miller
Probable: Cheney, Fleischer, Rice
Maybe: Bush, Hadley, Matalin, Hughes, Bolton

*** Charges ***

Perjury, conspiracy to suborn
Obstruction of justice, conspiracy to obstruct
Intelligence laws, conspiracy to violate intelligence laws.

*** Timing ***
Friday afternoon 21 Oct 2005

From all we know about this case, consider how much more Fitz must know about it. That's why people are seeing this as a very big case.

Rove, Libby, and Miller are burnt toast. I don't see any way out for them. Color them gone.

The two biggies are Cheney and Rice. I think one could argue biggie charges against Rice. She might have been the one to tell Rove/Libby about Wilson's ID. If so, she's burnt toast also. Cheney is neck deep in this. He may be up for multiple conspiracy charges and obstruction of justice.

If Cheney gets indicted, it's very likely that Bush will also. The West Wing will want to protect him, but Fitz *knows* that he's been aware of the situation for over two years. He told the world that he'd cooperate with the investigation, but Fitz and everybody knows that that meant that there was going to be a cover-up. It's the cover-up that's gonna clobber Bush, just like in Watergate. Watch for a smoking gun.

I think many staffers are going to go down. Fleischer, almost for sure. Other possibles would be other WHIG members. I love the idea of spinmeisters Matalin and Hughes trying to spin their way out of perjury and conspiracy charges all the way to their prison cells.

Hadley better be watching his back. If Rice goes down, Hadley will likely also go down.

One person's indictment inevitably leads to others. Once we know Rove/Libby are implicated the rest of the picture is transparent. Cheney is connected to Libby. Rove/Libby are connected through WHIG to Rice and to other staffers. Fleischer is directly implicated. Bush gets it by helping cover it up.

Fitz might draw the line anywhere, though. He could stop at Rove/Libby with perjury and obstruction charges (very doubtful). Once he opens the door to conspiracy, others have to fall with Rove/Libby. That leads inevitably to the staffers and to Cheney. Once Fitz is there, he might as well go all the way.

Oh, and on Judy Miller. I think she cooked her own goose here. She's going to prison. She didn't have to. All she had to do was tell the truth. It's quite apparent that she didn't. Buh bye, Judy.
