Even if there are no indictments we already won
Bush and his minions propaganda outlet formerly known known as the paper of record (NYT) has been exposed as the shills for the Republicans that they actually are.

Can't un-ring that bell. This Republicans won't have as easy a time of it as they have no more. We finally got a look behind the curtain and the 800 pound gorilla turned out to be the "liberal" media.

You want some proof of this? Look at Chimpy's most recent poll numbers.

1. Not only that, but We've also already won in the sense that...
The GOP agenda has been derailed -- you don't hear much about Social Security reform anymore, do you?

3. Oh, I certainly agree...
Congress is still filled with relentless greedheads who would sacrifice their own mothers for fun and profit. So you'll still see asshole moves like cutting back programs for the poor instead of,say, raising taxes on the rich or cutting pork from defense spending.

Just saying that the ability of the GOP to discuss its agenda in the press, instead of its scandals, has been hampered severely.

Also, hey thanks for the handle compliment! I am, of course, a big Tosh fan. Some of his songs, like "Equal Rights" or "Downpressor Man" would've been more apropos here, and do in fact describe some of my beliefs, but I like the sound of this one better.

4. At least the truth is coming out
So much bad news about him every day. I don't know if any proceedings against him will succeed, but at least people can see what kind of slime he is. Reagan was very popular until his second term when the scandals made it all fall apart. It was always obvious to people like us how bad he was, but it took the hearings and everything else to make his supporters wake up. Keep up the pressure on Bush and the same thing seems to be happening.
