Did Valerie Wilson-Plame appear before GJ or speak with Fitzgerald?
I've been wondering about this. There's so much speculation about the possibility of Brewster Jennings being on to something and the administration outing them because of that. The only people who would know would, of course, be Plame or others associated with BJ and others within the CIA. How much would she be able to divulge to the GJ or to Fitzgerald? I know there's a hell of a lot of stuff that we have no way of knowing. Things that only Fitzgerald or the GJ know or the judges that have been involved in the case. Does anybody have any info on Plame's actual involvement with the GJ, if any?

1. I would think so....
But then again, I am pretty ignorant about the GJ process.

I think that it would be important for Fitzgerald to pursue the whole issue of the recommendation of Wilson to do the investigation in Niger and that should include some individuals close to the case which would include Plame.

4. I have NO doubt Fitzgerald has spoken to both Wilsons
and many, many others not noted by the media. With this investigation being over 2 years, one can be sure Fitzgerald and his team weren't sitting around just waiting for Miller while she was in jail, they would have been interviewing many, compiling documentation, etc.

6. you're right
sounds like he is going for conspiracy indictments and that would require him to look in on Wilson's report and Plame's job to ascertain motive for the Bush Junta to out Brewster Jennings.....

3. The basic question is who knew of Plame's role?
Plame and her supervisors were certainly people who would have some idea of who those in the know were. I would hope Fitz' investigation would try to get past state secrets protections, but I am not sure that he did.

7. I don't know, but I would think he would want to.
It personalizes the case. This woman's career was finished, and many, many CIA assets were compromised by this outing. That is why the agency is so livid about this whole thing.

The CIA is in secret revolt against Bush right now. They are trying to get past the political hacks Bush has running things, and they are trying to make sure this horrific treason does not go unpunished.
