It was inconceivable to them that a progressive blog could target the New York Times, Washington Post, AP, CNN, MSNBC, etc. as purveyors of a pro-Bush narrative.
The "liberal media" mantra has been driven into their skulls with ruthless precision, and for most rightwingers it's the centerpiece of their political worldview.
As we wrote in a previous post, "This is an era where caterwauling maniacs like Limbaugh, Hannity, O'Reilly, and the grand dame of Pre$$titutes, Ann Coulter, reach millions of listeners, and where rightwing-think-tank trained 'pundits' dominate the airwaves. It is an era where the Gang of 500 have refined the art of Bush brown-nosing to such a degree that it's hard to tell where their faces end and Bush's ass begins."
Despite that unavoidable reality, rightwingers' heads explode at the suggestion that the New York Times shills for Bush by repeating deeply etched pro-Bush narratives.
