Just WAIT until DEMS own everything and we do this to republicans! RAH RAH RAH!

No actually, we wouldn't do this and I sure as hell wouldn't suppport doing this. But REPUBLICANS HAVE NO MORALS and put PARTY UBER ALLES, so of course they do it;

Washington, DC -- The National Park Service has started using a political loyalty test for picking all its top civil service positions, according to an agency directive released today by Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility (PEER). Under the new order, all mid-level managers and above must also be approved by a Bush administration political appointee.

PARTY UBER ALLES, GOTT MIT UNS!

2. Heil Bush
But we know his caliber of political appointees. He'll probably appoint Ron Silver as the director of the park service. He will contract out oversight to Halliburton. Global corporatists are that way.

3. This is pretty disturbing.
I sent this around earlier to some friends. It's like they are baiting us to compare them to Nazi's, or just following the model, not giving a shit what we think (more likely).

One would like to think that they didn't have the time/money/resources to manipulate the agenda on this level.

4. Once again it's worth asking: What would happen if this were Clinton?

They would be frothing at the mouth. And more importantly- that frothing would be televised.

7. At the civil disobedience at the WH on the 26th...
... they brought in park police on horse back that wedged themselves between us in the street and those on the side walk. Some one started the chant "Get those animals off those horses".

I didn't think that was right. After all they were just doing their jobs, and then someone reminded me that they could get a new job. A job that does not support the president. Now I see their point.

Thanks for posting.

8. The Park Police and the National Park Service are two
separate organizations. I would venture a guess that most NPS employees hate Bush and his mis-administration.

9. So what is the counterculture symbol for this era?
In the 20's you carried a flask.
In the 50's you greased your hair and wore a leather jacket.
In the 60's it was long hair.
In the 70's you had tie-dye.
In the 80's it was a long pinky finger nail.
In the 90's, well, there might not have been a counter culture in the 90's.

What do we have now? Do we need an earring? Or what? Something that pushes the limit of "acceptable". Something that the "staus quo" won't do.

(I hope I don't have to ampuate a finger or something like that. :scared: )
