Has anybody bought the new Michael Moore book?
I am considering buying it, but I need to get some reaction from fellow DUers.

Your input will be appreciated. Thanks.

John

1. Bought it yesterday
The first half reads verrrrrry fast, then slows a bit but a worthwhile read. Al Frankens book I could not put down. Read it on the way home from the east coast and laughed so hard reading the "Chicken Hawk" chapter I thought I would pee my pants. Left it with the Flight Attendant, worth the money to pass it around.

2. ME
but I haven't had a chance to read it yet (damned work and family commitments - cutting into my reading time!)

4. To help you decide...
There are a few sample chapters you can get to through Michael's website at: http://www.michaelmoore.com

Look on the right side of the page where it says "What's New in Dude Country?" and click on the Guardian article. From there, you can link into several articles.

I like this one: http://www.guardian.co.uk/michaelmoore/story/0,13947,1057354,00.html

The chapter on "how to talk to you conservative brother in law" was great...

6. I have read 2/3 of it.
It is Chomsky-lite with humor. He comes off as more serous this time around. Covers the Bush/Bin Laden connection. I wont spoil the rest. Pick up the book it is a quick read.
