They Just Got to Pull Clinton Out of Their Basket.

Today while making my way out to the gate where I supervise Flight operations for an Asian Airline I had the opportunity to speak with a gate agent from Northwest airlines. Our conversation was about the changing situation in the airline industry and how airlines are changing their formats and some are looking toward operating more on an international scale.

I had the chance to tell her my job at UAL reservation came to an end after two years because of so called rising fuel cost,we both agreed that that excuse was somewhat an excuse to strip workers of their wages and not really founded.

During the course she said that the world climate would detirmine in great part how the airlines operate. I asked her if another terror attack could sink some carriers for good, she said probably the all ready weak ones. I then said what about let say the bush administration becomes definitly crippled with indictments, I then mentioned that isnt it funny that everytime the bush admin. has trouble with its image it yells the T WORD......she becomes quiet for a second and then says....

.......You are probably a compassionate LIBERAL but your old boy CLINTON was far more corupt than this president......I then asked her to elaborate....she said he was guilty in WhiteWater and he lied about Monica......I replied back and said the repubs spent a $100 million $$ with Ken Starr and could not find anything to use against Bill and Hillary on Whitewater and Monica.........Bill was impeached but his reputation even at its lowest it was still higher than bushes average job performance ratings......I then followed up with....what is CORUPT is a man who will lie about invading a country to help his freinds(cronnies) to get NO-BID contracts that are putting this country in debt for years to come and have KILLED 2000 of the worlds finest soldiers....I then asked.....would you not agree???...of course she had to leave without answering........

They Just Got to Pull Clinton Out of The Basket.

1. Not just Clinton... The CLENIS!
Bush could kill and eat a busload of schoolchildren on live TV, and they'd still bring up Clinton's dick.

2. I just don't get it, their little pea brains just an't grasp the fact
that they've been had. Denial is a powerful force in the American Psyche. Pride seems to over rule common sense at every level. What a sad state of affairs.

My freeper fundie in-laws and their freinds, and several other "born-agains that I know always bitch about Clinton's morals, and the "damage" they did to our country. I just smile sweetly and say "Perhaps he needs your prayers rather than your disdain"...shuts them up every time. Interesting side note, my FIL supported Bush in everything he did, praised his morals and faith ad nauseum, that is until he realized that Bushco was bankrupting our nation and future generations, now Mr. fundie suddenly thinks shrub is inept and corrupt, apparently my FIL worships at the altar of Je$u$

:blush:edited to correct th freeper-like spelling

4. It seems like they all do that -- they have nothing else.

Any criticism of Busholini is met with some slam on Clinton -- "Well, Clinton was worse." (This is sometimes followed by "Kerry would have been worse.") I don't take that bait any more; I don't let myself get drawn into an argument about how "bad" Clinton (or Kerry) is. Instead, I respond by saying, "Clinton hasn't been president for almost 5 years and Kerry isn't the president now. Those guys are irrelevant. Just tell me exactly why you think Bush is doing such a great job." And they never can come up with anything -- they just sputter and dodge and go back to busting on Clinton.

5. I prefer "Clinton hasn't been president since the last millenia"
Not technically correct, but it seems that way.

6. You didn't need to defend Clinton. She needed to define "corrupt."
Once you can get her to define the meaning of "corrupt," then you can go head-to-head on Clinton vs. bush and their separate moral issues.

AFAIC, once they utter the name "Clinton," they've lost. It's always their last resort. You could say, "Clinton? You're invoking Clinton's name? Is that the best you've got?"

7. The right wing elite spend billions on propaganda.
It will work to the bitter end with the most gullible. IMO, that is the biggest problem in this Nation. Too many gullible people. By the time they realize they have been lied to, we are in a bloody quagmire, the Treasury belongs to China, and the infrastructure in the US is in ruins. But the robber barons have been enriched - that is the purpose of the republican party.

Thanks for fighting the good fight. I have zero patience with the kool-aid drinkers anymore.

8. Pillsbury dismissed Whitewater and Clinton wasn't impeached
Edited on Sat Oct-08-05 10:45 PM by noahmijo
From what I understand according to the articles of Impeachment Clinton was not found guilty and technically NOT impeached..

Update: My bad he was, it was under the Paula Jones bullshit that they didn't impeach him.

(Note I wasn't even of voting age during this time so to this day I am playing catch-up)
