Whatever happened to the "Jobs Czar"?
I thought it was an official thing, an assistant directly under the Commerce Secretary or something.

But I never heard of it after that. I knew it was phony, but did they just completely drop it? Was it ridiculed too much?

One of the Reagan Era fossils that pulls the strings in the Shrub administration saw that there was a 'Czar' on the payroll and assumed he was a Commie Ruski, so they shipped him off to Siberia!
