Poll question: Indictments...
I want to see Rove or Scotter Libby indicted as much as the next DUer but I am afraid to get my hopes up only to see them dashed....

If there were indictments the Bush* administration will be effectively castrated and they will be a lame duck administration for the next three or so years...

What is the likelihood of indictments?

1. 100% there will be indictments
No doubt about it. The only questions now are how many and if there will be very high level unindicted co-conspirators.

3. Bush* Is Finished Then
Edited on Thu Oct-06-05 04:01 PM by DemocratSinceBirth
I'm not predicting resignation or impeachment but his administration will be crippled...

Couple this with DeLay's dilemma and taking back both the Senate and House seems doable...

Of course, all this is contingent on indictments of Rove and/or Libby...

This would be a gift from the gods... Best gift since Watergate...

4. I Am Certain They Are Coming - Here's Why
It seems to me so very simple. We have what I believe the astrologers call a convergence. We have a willing and capable Prosecutor who has a track record for being unblemished by political influence. We know quite clearly that a crime has been committed, out in plain open daylight - and with much discussion in the affirmative here I might add. While we can not be sure we can say with certainty who did it we do know with certainty that it came from the White House, be it airborne or landbound. We also know that a sufficient number of people have given testimony for a picture of events to be drawn and for perjures to expose themselves.

So with that combination how on earth could a good Jury of reasonable men and women no find someone in all this good mess of whom it can be said with legal certainty that a crime has been committed and it would appear that enough evidence exists to charge a particular person with that crime - and let a judge and jury sort it out.

Tell me where I'm wrong?

5. Rove And Libby Are Saying They Merely Confirmed That Plame Was An Agent
But that begs the question....

How did the reporters learn that Plame was an agent?

That had to come from the administration....

Nobody is suggesting Valerie Plame outed herself...
