3. From the moment I laid my eyes on *
I felt uneasy. More and more, I've come to believe that a) either * really, honestly is the Antichrist (and I do mean this literally), or b) * is having his strings pulled by the Antichrist.

Remember those portions of the Bible that talk of the Antichrist deceiving large numbers of people? Nearly everything * has done has been, in his own words and attitudes, 'done in God's name', yet nearly all of the things he has done run counter to all of the most fundamental Biblical teachings.

Please, please, Lord.... let me be wrong about this.

16. snowmobilers for Bush are those yahoos
who want open access to snowmobiling in National Parks, which has been shown to disrupt the beauty and solitude of the parks, not to mention the pollution in the parks..they dont care, they just like Bush because he backs up their idiocy and doesnt mind destroying the environment.

17. The Average IQ
is 100. Half would be on one side, half on the other. Most people you meet would fall into the range of 90-100, everyone else trails off in proportional amounts on either side of that. That is general idea behind the bell curve, named, aptly, after the shape of the curve when you plot IQ on a graph.

The link belows describes a test that is pretty much the standard for IQ testing, the Weschler. This piece describes the Children's version, the WISC. Remember that IQ is only a part of the picture, adn folks readily question whether any of the existing measures are accurate readings of true intelligence

but, yeah, a good share of Americans are dumb. They vote Republican.

Normal results

The Wechsler Intelligence Scales are standardized tests, meaning that as part of the test design, they were administered to a large representative sample of the target population, and norms were determined from the results. The scales have a mean, or average, standard score of 100 and a standard deviation of 15. The standard deviation indicates how far above or below the norm the subject's score is. For example, a ten-year-old is assessed with the WISC-III scale and achieves a full-scale IQ score of 85. The mean score of 100 is the average level at which all 10-year-olds in the representative sample performed. This child's score would be one standard deviation below that norm.

While the full-scale IQ scores provide a reference point for evaluation, they are only an average of a variety of skill areas. A trained psychologist will evaluate and interpret an individual's performance on the scale's subtests to discover their strengths and weaknesses and offer recommendations based upon these findings.

20. Maybe more than half.
Found this graph.

As I understand it (maybe) 100 IQ= "average intelligence".

21. The chart is probably about right
Considering they are calling average intelligence up to 110 (74.6%). If you consider, as the creators of this pie appear to, that about 50% of folks fall into the 90 to 110 range, then 100 would still be smack in the middle. That assumes an even distribution across the range, but modern scaling of such tests can discriminate pretty darn well into the 40's and, if I recall correctly, into the 150's.
