Why Did They REALLY Withdraw That Indiana Assisted Reproduction Bill?

State Senator Miller said this morning that they withdrew her bill (the one that would have made it illegal for unmarried women to conceive through artificial insemination or IVF) because the issue turned out to be "more complex" than she realized.

So...what was the REAL statement behind that piece of boilerplate?

The situation still bears close scrutiny. The Indiana Legislature is one of the most corrupt in the business and with GOP control it is even more so. They will try to raise this issue again...why? Come on, because fundies are fucking nuts that's why. Evil bastards.

The REAL reason that Senator Miller withdrew her proposed bill was that she realized it would make the birth of Jesus a Class B Misdemeanor in the state of Indiana!

Last year we had the bill in VA that would have required women to report miscarriages to the police. This year, there's this bill. What else is buried deep in state legislature memos that we need to be aware of?
