9. I have also lost hope. Those people are expert at covering their tracks.
I think there will be "conclusions" that nothing is indictable, but maybe some things may have been "inappropriate" or that someone "mis-spoke".

This is a big one that could hurt them. They won't let it happen. I still keep going back to the fact that it was an administration official (asst. AG) who appointed the prosecutor. They don't take chances with something this big.

10. They have no more control of the grand jury than tom delay did over his
If fitz and the grand jury have the goods (which I think they do) they will indict.

Fitz does not give a damn about Repug or Democrat. Fitz does not give a damn about whether they are "too powerful" etc etc. Read up on him.

11. I've read a bit about him...
...and I can't see how he would have sustained this investigation so long for a no result.

That jury is going to punch somebody, or Fitz would have finished a while ago.

My gut tells me that there will also be more than just who outed Plame.

13. I hope you are both correct. I read up on him long before this because
of his work in IL and Gov. Ryan and others. My question is : Why would they allow such a prosecutor to be appointed unless there was a deal or they knew how it was going to come out? It does not make sense that they would appoint a good prosecutor. Thats taking a chance. These bastards don't take chances with something this important.

17. By "they"...
... I assume you mean the WH.
He was appointed by James Comey (Acting Attorney General) who I think picked him on merit rather than some controlled outcome agenda.
As I understand it, no politicians had any say in the appointment.

18. Yes, but Bush** appointed Comey. That's why I'm suspicious.
On October 3, 2003, President George W. Bush nominated Jim Comey to serve as Deputy Attorney General, he was unanimously confirmed by the Senate on December 9, 2003, and the President signed his commission on December 11, 2003. Source "WhiteHouse.gov"

15. If he hands out indictments,
doesn't it have to be to the Attorney General? Is it possible that the Attorney General wouldn't make this public, or can he keep something like this under wraps? I'm just curious about how this would work.
